October is right around the corner, so we are excited to share with you our pumpkin picking guide!   Whether you are just looking for the perfect pumpkin or two, or want to add in some family fun with it, there is something on this list for everyone!

Freeman’s Farm-6142 Lewis Center Rd, Galena.

Market open daily for shopping-September 17-October 31. Market hours: Monday-Friday, 12pm-7pm and during open hours on Festival days. Festival days: Saturdays (10am-5pm) and Sundays (11am-5pm) from September 17-October 23.

Activities include: hayrides, Fall Sand Art, petting animals and more. Free admission but there is a charge for food, some activities and items purchased in the fall market.  Visit the website for more details and up to date information.


Leeds Farm-8738 Marysville Rd, Ostrander.

A pre-purchased ticket is required for every guest.  Visit the website for more details!

Pumpkins, gourds and squash are all available at the barnyard for purchase.   The farm activities except Big Zip are included with admission and include hayrides, combine slide, pumpkin jump, pumpkin plunge, mini zip line and much more.

Saturdays and Sundays through October 29th. (10am-5pm).  Open one Friday-October 14.


Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm: 2920 Rt. 203, Radnor.

Corn maze, mini golf, pumpkin picking, hayrides, farm animals, jump pad and more!

See calendar on the website for days and times along with admission pricing.  Some activities are open Tuesday-Thursday nights, 4:30pm-7pm, but not all activities will be available on weeknights.   Also open on select Monday and Fridays in October.  Weekend hours are Saturdays and Sundays: 10am-7pm.  Admission required to pick pumpkins from the patch during the weekend.   There is no admission to pick out of the patch during weeknights.   No admission required to shop in the gift shop.


The Orchard & Co. 7255 US Hwy 42, Plain City.

Saturdays & Sundays, Sept. 10th – October 30th: 11 A.M. -6 P.M. (We will close at 4 PM on 10/30)

Farm Yard Pass: Adults & Children $14.00, Seniors $5.00, 2 & under free.  Season Pass: $20.00.  Includes: Animal Barn, Jumping Pillow, Pedal Cart Track, Zip Line, Tractor Swings, Hay & Corn barn, Hill Slide, Diggers, Tire Climb, Wagon Ride, & Moo Moo Express.  Farm yard pass is not required to pick pumpkins or visit the market and cafe.  More details can be found on the website.


Jacquemin Farms-7437 Hyland Croy Rd, Plain City.

This year there will be a fall harvest full of pumpkins, gourds, apples and cider, decor and pumpkin donuts!   Call ahead or visit their facebook page for more information.

Market hours will be: Tuesday-Friday: 10am-6pm, Saturday: 10am-5pm, Closed Sundays and Mondays.


Hidden Creek Farms-581 S. Galena Rd, Sunbury

Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch to find your perfect pumpkin from the thousands growing in our field. Fall fun activities include: hayride, pumpkin slide, straw maze, corn cannon and more.   Check out the “Fall Festival” activities page on the website for full details.

Market Hours: September 24-October 30 open Monday-Friday: 11am-5pm, Saturday and Sunday: 10am-6pm.

Fall Activities: September 24-October 30.  Weekends: 10am-6pm, Mondays: 11am-4pm, Friday October 14: 11am-4pm.  Entrance fee: $9 (ages 2+), $5 (ages 55+).


Circle S Farms-9015 London Groveport Rd. Grove City

October 1-October 31, 2022: Open 9:00 am – 7:00 pm daily

Stop by the farm market cafe and bakery to fill up with donuts, cookies, turnovers, and other delicious treats. Apple cider, hot chocolate and coffee are also served daily. A hayride wagon will take you from the pumpkin field to your car after you have found the perfect pumpkin to take home.

Monday – Friday groups*- $8.50 per person (*A group consists of 10 or more persons with a reservation).  Weekday group admission includes: Hayride, Pumpkin, Donut & Apple Juice, Fun Barn, Petting Zoo, Corn & Sunflower Mazes, Bale Cave.

General admission: $11.00 per person (children under 2 admitted free). $5.00 per pumpkin (optional).  General admission includes: Hayride, Fun Barn, Petting Zoo, Corn & Sunflower Mazes, Bale Cave

Lynds Fruit Farm-9399 Morse Rd. SW, Pataskala

2022 U-pick pumpkin picking opens October 5 at the Morse Rd. Farm, WEST of St. Rt. 310   Price:  $8 per pumpkin, any pumpkin in the field. There is a 1 pumpkin purchase minimum to enter the patch.  This year’s crop is small and may last only a few days, depending on the crowd.   The ticker on homepage will have the latest information.   The market generally has a good supply up to Halloween week.  Feel free to call the market before making the trip to be sure we are not sold out for the given day.  740-927-8559.

In addition to pumpkins, you can also visit the Corn Maze every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from September 2-October 30.  Corn maze location:  9851 Morse Road SW, Pataskala, Ohio, just a half mile west of Lynd Farm Market. Look for the 2-story tower!   Find details about the Corn Maze here.


Miller’s Country Garden-2492 State Rte 37 W, Delaware

Come and select your pumpkins.  You can either pick one out of our huge pumpkin pile or on Saturdays and Sundays in October, you can take a ride in our hay wagon to our pumpkin field to pick your own.  For activities and all the details, check out the website.

Hours: Wednesday-Saturday, 9am-7pm.  Sunday: 12pm-5pm.  Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
