For Kids: Ravine Hike

Come explore a ravine at Highbanks and learn more about the stories these waterways can tell! This is an off-trail hike which will include walking on slippery rocks, climbing over logs and uneven terrain with varying water levels in the streambed. Due to the nature of the hike, no crocs or flip flops will be permitted. Please wear closed-toed shoes you are comfortable with getting wet. Hike is approx 2 miles.
Meeting location notes: Big Meadows Picnic Area is at the back of the park. After you enter the park, take the main road down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, take the ROAD on the LEFT. Park in the lot with a playground. Meet near restrooms.
