Did you know that there is a program where kids can bowl for FREE each summer?
Select bowling centers around the country provide 2 FREE games of bowling each day to kids during spring and summer. The program is designed to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer. I first signed my daughter up for this program when she was 3 years old, and it’s a perfect activity on rainy or hot days, or just an opportunity to have some fun with friends. All the details about the program and registration can be found on the Kids Bowl Free Website. You need to sign up first in order to participate in the Kids Bowl Free program!
Here is what you need to do to sign up your kids:
- Find a participating bowling center. There are a number that participate in the Columbus area, I will link them below.
- Register your kids. Each bowling center sets their age limits, so see the center registration page for details on age limites. The center we signed up at allows kids 2-15 years old to participate.
- Once you register you can purchase a family pass if you wish. This allows adult family members to enjoy bowling throughout the summer as well. The family pass starts at $34.95.
- Go bowling!
Some important things to note:
- There may be a shoe rental fee (this varies by location and details are listed on each center when you sign up).
- Registration is for one center, you must bowl at the center you sign up for.
- The program start and end dates are listed on the bowling center page that you register with. You can register before the start date, but the coupons will not be loaded onto your account until the start date has occured.
- The age limit varies by center, and adults are not free, but you can purchase reasonably priced family passes to allow adults to bowl all summer as well.
- Hours and days offered vary by center, and are all listed on the website of each center in the top right hand corner.
