Memorial Day Parades - Columbus Moms Network

Memorial Day is just around the corner. If you’re looking for a parade to take the family to, I’ve put together a list of Memorial Day parades in our area.

Powell

Monday, May 27: 10am

The Memorial Day Parade will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 27 in downtown Powell. A special ceremony will be held immediately following the parade at the Greater Powell Veterans Memorial, 47 Hall Street.

The Olentangy Rotary Club will continue to host the annual Field of Flags display in Village Green Park throughout Memorial Day weekend – May 24-27. Nearly 100 flags will be placed in Village Green Park near the Greater Powell Veterans Memorial to honor our fallen heroes.

Marysville

Monday, May 27: 9am

Parade Route: 5th & Plum St. to W. 5th St., ending at Oakdale Cemetery (1290 W. 5th St.)

Plain City

Monday, May 27: 10am-11am

The parade will start out of the north entrance of Pastime Park at 10:00 AM, heading south on Chillicothe Street. The first stop is at Darby Township Cemetery across from the Plain City Elementary. The parade will the continue south, turning left on Cemetery Pike, stopping on the bridge, then continuing to Forest Grove Cemetery for the Memorial Day Ceremony.

Worthington

Monday, May 27: 10am

The Worthington Memorial Day Parade, sponsored each year by the American Legion in Worthington, begins on E. Dublin-Granville Rd. and proceeds south on High Street to Cemetery Drive. Please contact the American Legion for information on how to enter your group in the parade.

Grandview Heights

Saturday, May 25: 10am

The Memorial Parade begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at First Avenue and Cambridge Boulevard and goes along First Avenue to Oxley Road.

Grove City

Monday, May 27: 11am

The parade steps off from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3730 Broadway and travels to City Hall in historic Town Center.

Following the service, the American Legion Post 164 is hosting an open house,  3363 McDowell Road, for the remainder of the day. The event is open to the public, includes food and beverages.

Dublin

Monday, May 27: 11am

11 am-Procession through Historic Dublin with a wreath-throwing ceremony at the Bridge St. bridge. 11:30am-Memorial Day Ceremony at the Dublin Cemetery located at 83 West Bridge St. Noon-Complimentary community picnic lunch at Monterey Park

 

Groveport

Monday, May 27: 1:30pm

Join us as we remember and honor our Nation’s fallen heroes. The parade will commence promptly at 1:30pm in front of Groveport Town Hall (648 Main St.) and conclude at the Groveport Cemetery, conveniently located adjacent to Heritage Park at 551 Wirt Road.
