Recipe: Three Smoothie Recipes You NEED To Have | Columbus Moms Network

Is there anything more refreshing than a cold smoothie on a hot summer day? These delicious smoothie recipes are filled with nutrient rich ingredients that will leave you feeling healthy and satisfied.

Substitutions can be made for milk preference and nut butter preference.


BLUEBERRY

Ingredients:

(One generous portion)

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 banana

1 cup almond milk, or milk of choice

2 tablespoons almond butter, or nut butter of choice

1 tablespoon hemp seeds

1 handful spinach

 

Instructions

1.) Add all ingredients to blender and process until smooth. Add more liquid as needed to achieve desired consistency.


STRAWBERRY BANANA

Ingredients:

(One generous portion)

1 cup frozen strawberries

1 banana

1 cup almond milk, or milk of choice

1 tablespoon almond butter, or butter of choice

1 tablespoon hemp seed

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1.) Add all ingredients to blender and process until smooth. Add more liquid as needed to achieve desired consistency.


RASPBERRY BEET

Ingredients:

(One generous portion)

1 cup frozen raspberries

1 banana

2 small cooked beets

1 cup almond milk, or milk of choice

juice from 1/2 lemon or orange

Instructions

1.) Add all ingredients to blender and process until smooth. Add more liquid as needed to achieve desired consistency.
