Dozers & Diggers

We’re rounding up big trucks and exploring machine science! Families are invited to get an up-close view of the trucks, lifts, bull dozers, and other big machines that get things done in our community. Jump in, climb around, and speak to the people who operate these extraordinary machines! The day includes live demonstrations & family activities.
Sensory hour: From 9 am to 10 am there will be reduced loud noises and sirens.
Outdoor fun is completely free to explore. Access to the museum & indoor activities are at a discounted rate of only $7 per person!
Outdoor Event: Free & Open to the Public/Inside Museum: $7 per person/Free for Members
For Event Access: All visitors must check-in and receive a wristband.
Parking for the event will be available in the 2nd Street Parking Garage, the parking lots adjacent to The Works, and surrounding Downtown Newark parking. First Street will be closed for the event.
